General Site Rules
Rules! Every RP site has em, and we do too. We'd appreciate it if you took the time to to look through the rules so as to save everyone time and trouble. After all... we're all here to have fun! So, without further ado... THE COMMANDMENTS OF FAIRY TAIL REVOLUTION!
1: Minimum word count for posts should be AT LEAST 200 words!
Nobody likes one or two sentence posts. Something like: And Nate turned and looked at Sue. “Okay then.” Is not acceptable. It's not hard to reach 200 words... describing how your character is moving, how they are acting to the environment, what their thoughts are to something the person they are talking to said... those are all good ways to make your post a little bigger and give your fellow RPers something to work with!
2: Spell check!
This is more a courtesy rule than anything. If you don't spell properly, then the other people in your thread might misread something as something else, and react accordingly! We understand that spell check doesn't catch everything... “Wait a sex!” when you meant to say “Wait a sec!” is something you'll have to check over yourself, and it doesn't take very long to re-read your post to find what spell check didn't! Also, it's recommended you type your posts into a word document first, as those generally have a spell check and word counter to them. This also doubles to save your posts in case of an error! Wouldn't want to lose all that hard work and spell checking!
3: Don't god mod, power play, or control other people's characters!
It's rude, it's dirty, it's unfair, don't do it. You probably wouldn't like it if someone controlled your character, or was doing impossible dodges all day long. If you're doing it for a personal plot reason, make sure everyone is okay with it. Preferably over a private message so you have something to show to staff in case there's problems. If there's complaints, and there's no proof of things being okay, offenders will be warned and punished as needed.
4: Do not double post or spam!
Again, it's generally rude and unneeded. Double posting when you're running an art topic or something of that nature, but don't do it under any circumstances in the In Character areas! You can edit posts if there's issues! This doubles as a do not spam rule too guys. Be mature about posting and don't try to inflate your post count with unproductive posts (Unless that's what the topic is about) or double posting.
5: Respect!
Respecting your fellow Role Players goes a long way towards making the site enjoyable for everyone, not just yourself. If you've got a problem with other members on the site, talk it out peacefully. If people in the C-box are telling you to quit, then quit and take it to Private messages. If you cannot resolve it through talking, then PM someone on staff, in a calm and reasonable manner to step in.
6: PG:13
I understand that some people like to write explicit gore, or explicit other stuff. But, for the sake of the audience that might be drifting through, let's keep it tame. Don't go into too much detail if you've cut someone down with a sword. If your chars are getting it on fade to black. What happens in private messages is what happens there, but keep it off the general boards. If you post explicit sexual content, you get one warning. After that, a permanent ban will be issued. Any content posted will be deleted by staff.
7: Harassment, Racism, and other offensive topics are a no go!
A lot of this is covered in the terms of service when you make an account, but we'll cover it here too just in case. Harassment of any kind be it sexual or otherwise, racism, or anything of the sort will NOT be tolerated. If it happens, submit proof along with a calm complaint sent to a staff member. If you are one of the offended do not let your emotions get the better of you, simply tell us so we can sort things out.
8: Respect Staff!
This warrants it's own rule as, in my experience, mods and other staff members are held at a rather harsh standard. First off, we are human beings and we often have things going on in life and we're not getting anything tangible for doing this. We might have jobs, school, sick family members, maybe be on medicine for an illness... Do not pester staff to grade something or check something for you, we will probably procrastinate simply to spite you. Do not belittle staff or make accusations without proper proof, and if you DO have an accusation to make, send a Private message with the proof to an administrator or Mod you trust. If we have not gotten around to something you need checked, a gentle reminder when we log in the C-box once every 24 hours(or sooner if the mod in question asks) Or a PM once every 72 hours may be sent. Mods and Admins have a final say on any case and it will not matter if you like the ruling or not. We are open to discussion on the matter, but once we've said “That's that.” That's how it's most likely going to stay.
9: Keep the C-box clean!
The C-box is a public place to chat with other members of the site. You can probably find all the answers to your questions, staff, and more there. But please... keep it PG:13 guys. And try not to fight... We don't like having to go into the C-box every five minutes because of a disagreement! If you post explicit sexual content, you get one warning. After that, a permanent ban will be issued. Any content posted will be cleared asap by staff.
10: Have fun!
It's pretty self explanatory... We're all here to have fun, so just relax and have a good time with everyone else. If you have questions, feel free to send PMs or ask in the C-box. If you've got problems/concerns... the same thing.
PS: We reserve the right to change the rules as we see fit. We also reserve the right to warn, kick, ban, or otherwise penalize you if you're not behaving. Don't abuse loopholes in the rules. Consider yourselves warned.

Guild Perks for jobs
Any wizard can walk into a guild and take a job from the job board, if they so wish. However, as a finder's fee, the guild in question will take 10% from a member not in their guild. This means that guildless people get 10% less from missions... but some would say its a small price to pay for the kind of freedom one doesn't get in a guild.
Thread Limits and tracking threads
As of 2/28/14, you can RP in any place you want without travel limits. However, you may only be in up to 5 threads at once per character to keep this manageable for many people, and any thread that you want considered official for the forum must be kept track of in your Wizard's Journal.
