For years, Shadow Heart was a secretive organization whose movements went almost completely unnoticed by the Magic Council and the legal guilds. They used that time to build up an empire with a web of contacts and resources that spread throughout all of Fiore and perhaps even beyond. Now they are a formidable organization, powerful enough to oppose the Magic Council that would denounce them, as well as the guilds that would stand by and watch Fiore fall into the hands of the corrupt and unworthy.

Shadow Heart is the most powerful organization in Fiore after the Magic Council’s civil war, having displayed their ability to hold their own against nearly every other wizard organization in Fiore. Many guildless and even non-wizards flock to the banner of Shadow Heart, who claim to want to bring down the corrupt Magic Council and punish those who would see Fiore fall into the state it is now in.
