Instant Stress Relief
Oh Verity was in need of some stress relief. She was pissed off and ready to get some fighting action. She wasn't pissed off at anybody she knew-
Okay she was lying. She was pissed off at a particular lightning dragon slayer with hair suited for an old man. Yes, he had hair suited for an old man and eyes as creepy as a, a, a glowing purple bug. It wasn't just one reason she was pissed off at him, it was several reasons and however contradictory that may seem, his weird appearance wasn't one of them; that was just a way she described him to make him seem more annoying. The reasons were irrelevant right now though. What was important right now was that glorious mission telling her she needed to beat some people up.
She was so game.
David Hunkipillar had a name that made him sound like he was a hunky caterpillar. She doubted he actually was a hunky caterpillar no matter how cool that might be. He was also missing and apparently joined an underground fighting tournament. She didn't really get the problem but then again, his parents seemed to be a bunch of sticklers so she wasn't surprised. She wasn't sure what she'd be doing with parents like those but it certainly wasn't going to be willingly taking up the family biz. So to complete this mission she guessed she only really needed to fight some people. First she had to actually find the stadium though. That should be easy enough she thought.

Re: Instant Stress Relief
The Punch-A-Bunch Arena was a pain in the a** to find. It was underground! How was she meant to know that!
...
By the fact it said underground fighting tournament on the request? The little nagging voice in her head told her which she decided to ignore. It was a good point but still...totally irrelevant. The task at hand was definitely to get in.
Hmmm....breaking in sounded grand. Crashing into a fight sounded even grander. But...it just was no fun if she did that! She was going to join it. Yeah, that sounded like the grandest plan ever. Then she could really beat some people up.
She headed up to the registration booth and prepared for registra-
"Get out of here,"
Verity dropped her mouth open. What. "What?" She said at the same time as her thought. She didn't understand. How rude!
"I said, get out of here," The man didn't seem very friendly, "No guild wizards allowed," His gaze flickered over her guild tattoo located on her shoulder. She followed his gaze and cursed out loud. He coughed. She wasn't going to get anywhere by arguing - she learnt that a while ago. So instead, she went back out. Okay. She needed a disguise. Something very different to what she was wearing right now. At the moment her hair was up (damn that) and she was wearing sport leggings and a t-shirt. Adversely she could wear a dress and dye her hair temporarily/don a wig, her choice. Without wasting anytime, the girl went to the nearest shop and bought a dress and a wig since dying her hair would take time. The dress was black, short, clingy at the top but flowy at the bottom. Perfect really for fighting (if one didn't mind flashing everybody). It was also one shouldered so it covered her guild mark perfectly. The wig on the other hand required a lot of pinning up and a wig cap. It was dark brunette and possessed big curls at the end. Other than its slight inconvenience, she guessed she looked nothing like she had before. She also had a pair of sunglasses on. Disguise set, she walked up to the man to try her luck again.

"Hey," The dark 'brunette' tried to adopt a convincing drawl. The man peered suspiciously at her. She could see him trying to figure out whether he knew her already or not. She held her breath, hoping he wouldn't figure out her disguise. The man sighed and gestured her pass. She struggled to maintain a lazy attitude. Once out of view, the girl immediately bowled over people to get to her destination of the arena. Several protested in annoyance and many yelled at her. Red faced and panting, she finally got to the arena only to-
Nearly get attacked by some guy. Called Sue apparently. The people around started cheering his name loud and clear. The guy grimaced in annoyance. Aha, so that was his weak spot. She didn't have time to exploit it because the next thing she knew she was being dragged out of the arena being told she wasn't a contestant. She frowned. She argued with the people dragging her out till she finally got them 'convinced' she had to stand in for the current guy doing battle with Sue. Her convincing story involved her being the squire and that he had a fatal illness. Overall, not very convincing but she must have annoyed them to the point that they threw the other guy out and plopped her back in instead. From then on it was easy. She annoyed Sue to the point that he rammed himself into a wall which caused her to only need to punch his face til he was out cold.
The next guy she faced wasn't that much better, some dude named Rusty. He was stronger with a way more silly name. Who called their kid Rusty? And he was 50. She requipped Relica and made do with him easily once she had the sword in her hands. And then, at long last, was David the hunky caterpillar. Or just pillar. Whichever worked better. He was pretty strong as well but Vera was confident in her able to cope and beat up people skills. She could understand his sentiment but didn't agree with the way he was going about it. She told him why she was in the tournament (much to the shock of onlookers who wanted to mob her) and several minutes later then gave him futher advice to talk to his parents or actually and literally knock some sense into them upon hearing more about his situation. He didn't agree. Or well, he didn't have much of a choice since she told this to his unconscious body.
After that she just returned him to his parents receiving some shock about her new appearance, overall more calm after punching some people.
