[Basic Information]
Full Name: Tenjin Fukujaku
Alias(es): N/A
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Birthday: November 13
Sexuality: Bisexual
[Characteristics]
Height: 5'8''
Weight: 130lbs
Hair: Blackish-blue
Eyes: Blue
General Appearance: Tenjin is a rather imposing female. She stands just a bit taller than the average height at 5'8'', she weighs a healthy 130lbs and sports a delicate frame. Her skin is a soft tan and near blemish free. Her curves are on the mild side, but still very sexy with a tight butt and average bust. Her hair is a blackish-blue color, a silky shine and reaches down to the bend of her back. Her eyes are a soft blue and show a feisty but controlled spirit. Her nails remain neatly trimmed and not painted, she possesses a natural beauty and doesn't like to use makeup.
Personality: Tenjin is a mature and intelligent woman of a young age; despite her young age, she is quite mature and uses logic in most decisions. Her logic is not normally cold, but it can be when necessary. She prefers to find a more accepted answer or outcome before considering the less than ideal outcomes: this does not mean she is ideal however. She is down to earth, so to speak, and very simple by nature. She has a firm set of morals and refuses to be shook from them, "order" is the most firm and outrageous form of her morals; she believes in order so strongly, that she will avoid walking on the grass and go around to a set path instead even if it is an inconvenience.
She is a cheerful woman despite being serious, she knows how to have fun and isn't a stick in the mud; no doesn't become depressed very much and doesn't stay gloomy for long. She can have a temper however, if you are rude and arrogant or break the laws and rules of the land and guilds. When fighting, she retains a small amount of happiness, but suppresses most of it with a serious composure. In a life and death situation, her logic becomes more cold-hearted but considerate of her allies or innocent people. However, if a bad guy has an innocent person held as a hostage and preventing her from completing her mission, she will sacrifice the innocent person for the greater good.
Likes: Chocolate- Tenjin loves all kind of chocolate, but preferably chocolate sticks. Fitness- Tenjin believes in fitness and loves morning exercise to keep her body fit. Tactics- Tenjin loves a good strategy, whether it be a game or combat.
Dislikes: Arrogance- Being arrogant is a surefire way to get her annoyed and possibly ignore or beat you up. Pink- She hates the color pink. Sour- She greatly dislikes sour food, her tongue can't handle it.
Motivations: Order- She works hard to be strong enough to enforce law and order wherever she goes. Recognition- She longs to be recognized for her latent potential.
Fears: Chaos- She fears what would happen in total mayhem. Death As with everyone, she fears death; her reasons are more vain than simple. She fears without her around, the guilds around her will run wild and the people will suffer.
[Life]
Occupation: Magic Council Seeker
Family: Single child, no extended family & both parents are dead
Medical Conditions: A bit of OCD
Pets: N/A
Hometown: Shirotsume
Secrets: She has killed many innocent people for the greater good of the kingdom and for the Magic Council.
- History:
- Tenjin was born into a wealthy family, an older couple who were fortunate enough to have a child after the doctors told her mother that she could never have children. Her parents were proud of her, being proof against the doctor's diagnosis. Her father was a man of law, a mage who worked with the Magic Council to uphold order; the family lived quietly in Shirotsume while her father worked long hours and weeks at Era with the Magic Council. He was a mage of Rune Magic, which he passed on to his daughter at birth- he was relied upon heavily as a Seeker in order to capture wanted criminals and suppress unruly mages.
Tenjin's mother was a kind and gentle woman, she was quiet but loving and always caring and considerate. She raised Tenjin up with love and kindness and made up for what Tenjin's father missed often from working long hours with the Magic Council. Tenjin grew up seeing her father once a month for a couple days or so before he would go onto another mission; each time, Tenjin and her mother never knew if he would come back or not. When she turned twelve years old, her father didn't come back like he was supposed to for her birthday; it was later that evening when some paladins arrived and told her mother than Tenjin's father had been killed on a mission.
Tenjin decided then that she would become a Seeker just like her father and live on his life of order and protect the people. She began training her magic that very year and her mother supported her along every step of the way. Her mother didn't like the idea of her daughter following her husband's footsteps, but she couldn't deny the strength and determination Tenjin had in her eyes.
Once Tenjin turned fifteen years old, she joined the Magic Council as a recruit and began to study different kinds of magic and how to counter it, as well as to train her body physically and mentally to the harsh climates and difficulties she would face. She took her training slowly, she failed the first attempt at becoming a Seeker, her classmates and others became official mages under the Magic Council and Tenjin regressed to an earlier training period. She hadn't intentionally failed, she simply took her time and was slower than the rest; she had a complex magic after all, bot just throwing fireballs or touching stuff to freeze it.
She took her time in perfecting her own magic; by the second time the test came around, both her mind and body were ready. She made up for her first failure by passing with flying colors and getting compliments from her instructors and a couple recommendations. She never once had let her first failure set her back, she purposefully let herself see it as an opportunity to train more and become stronger.
[Guild & Magic]
Guild: Magic Council-Loyalist
Guild Tattoo: Her tattoo is on her back, a large 1ft length by 6inch wide red crest of the Magic Council.
Magic: Dark Écriture
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: This Magic changes the color of Tenjin's right eye sclera to black and makes the pupil a glowing purple color when she uses magic.
It is a form of Letter Magic that allows the caster to write runes, sometimes without a writing tool such as a pen or a quill, for various types of effects. Essentially, the spells used for this Magic work only on what the caster writes with it; in other words, what they write goes as follows, making it a sort of "rule" in using Dark Écriture.
The properties of the Magic is centered on the writing of the runes; however, if rewritten correctly, the effects will change. The runes can be written on an object, person, or even in midair for the effects to take place.
The runes can be written for different purposes, such as traps, and offensively can be cast upon an opponent to inflict either physical or mental injury. The caster can also conjure an element for usage of this Magic, like poison. Death is also a possible effect. However, simple usage of this Magic that is convenient for the user, such as teleportation or flight, can also be used. Another type of spell is actual transformation, in which the caster is able to transform themselves and be granted a different appearance, even strength. Source
Strengths: The strengths of this magic are various, ranging in many different forms and results. Foremost, the magic is very versatile in nature. It has no set element, rather it uses runes "words of absolute" per say. It is usable in any environment and the uses for it are near infinite: a simple use could be writing the rune "warm" on a jacket and wear it atop a frozen mountain and stay warm. A more complex form of this magic would be writing the word "Death" on a target and cause them to die suddenly.
Weaknesses: While the uses for this magic are one in many, and even though it is quite versatile- it still has a weakness. One cannot simply "use" runes, they must "write" them to obtain the desired effect; one must also know and implore the intent of the rune when writing it. This requires concentration, otherwise, the rune can be interrupted if the mind is not trained properly.

Quote do post: 79703Anamist Souigetsu wrote:Anamist had been standing just outside the broken wall while holding Rui when a rather bold hollow had attempted to steal his "catch". Anamist had raised his hand and was going to grab the hollow by its mask and crush its skull, but it was purified suddenly and a shinigami came into view not but a few paces in front of Anamist. Instinctively, Anamist leapt back from the shinigami: he was not a trustful even if their duties were to protect humans. He was a hollow after all, even if he had evolved into an arrancar thousands of years ago- it was still their duty to slay ones such as him for the upset in balance in power. As he leapt backwards though, a group of four hollows attempted to pounce on him from different sides in order to steal Rui from him. He sensed them however, a large crimson circular ring appeared around his waist and expanded outwards in all directions- this ring became a reiatsu blade and connected solidly with the hollows as they tried to close in and destroyed their bodies before they reached Anamist's own personal space.
They were not purified, rather simply obliterated; which would be frowned upon by any shinigami, for it upset the most important balance the Death Gods held. She is not your food, she belongs to me... He meant it in the best way, but it could be taken quite differently. By releasing his spiritual powers, even if a little, he had ultimately given away the nature of his being. He was foremost an arrancar, a hollow and his powers could never mask that aura, the repulsive and decaying feeling- though of course his aspect of death was gluttony, so naturally his reiatsu was very repugnant and caused hunger in those around him. Being the case, the hollows which were already in a feeding frenzy only became more hungry, tormented by the insatiable feeling Anamist's power imposed on them in his presence.
Speaking of power, the power difference between him and the current shinigami close to him was a considerable difference, Anamist's own spiritual pressure would bare down on Luke like a weight, making it difficult for him to move as freely as he wished. It would also effect Weiblich who was hiding just inside the building. Anamist had noticed him too, he had been going to vantage point from vantage point and sniping a considerable amount of hollows with his deadly arrows. Quincy were always such an interesting thing, being weak physically, but being able to overcome this weakness by relying on the spiritual pressure around them.
The third shinigami was a bit different, he possessed a more inherent display of inner fortitude that Anamist suspected he would put of a greater fight. Three against one was not really in his favors and he didn't want to have to result in going all out against them... but it seemed like things would be escalating quickly. His presence there and announcing himself as an arrancar just now would cause concern in the three other spiritual beings, an obligation in at least two of them and likely a burning passion in the Quincy to rid the world of such a powerful hollow such as Anamist himself. He held Rui on his shoulder and steadied her with one arm by holding onto her legs, making sure to keep her dress pinned to her legs. It would be quite un-lady-like to reveal anymore skin in public, and Rui was his little girl after all. Be about your business Shinigami, it would do you well to not concern yourself with me. he said sternly to Luke and edging away from the shinigami.

Re: Tenjin
Hiya Tenjin, we're glad to have you here at FTR! I'll be looking at your app today. *puts on glasses and shuffles through papers*
A few quick things -
1. It says on the biography you have to be fifteen to join the Magic Council as a junior member, and you wrote fourteen. It's a simple enough fix so I thought I'd mention it.
2. On FTR, the Magic Council went through a recent and violent split between the Loyalist and Crusader factions. You'll need to choose which branch of the council Tenjin is a part of. the various groups can be found here -
https://fairytailrevolution.rpg-board.net/f74-groups
3. With your magic, I'm loathe to say no to it, but as we've seen on the show/manga it has the potential to be unfair or just frustrating to other rp'ers if used exactly as it is there. It would have to be a more limited style, or perhaps even your own take on it for this particular AU. Would you be fine with it working differently than what you've seen?
If you haven't already, you may want to glance at the magic creation section and see what you would do and get an idea how you would want to handle it.
Anyway, that's what I've got for now. Let me know when changes/decisions have been made!

Re: Tenjin
Age bumped to fifteen years in history. Loyalist division added to Magic Council. I half-expected this would happen. It is a bit frustrating, your banned/restricted magic list is quite limited; so it's difficult to know where and what is acceptable here. I am very new to FT RPing and have little experience with spells & such + not knowing what your own limitations are on this magic, makes it quite difficult for me to elaborate on my own style of it or even make it acceptable.

Re: Tenjin
The limitations are easy enough. It's mostly common sense. If it would force another character to do something or just be generally unstoppable seeming it's not allowed. It's a lot more lax than other FT sites specifically because we know there's a way to make magics work even if you have to change them a bit for your own character.
Re: Tenjin
Common sense I can do. I'd like to keep this magic, we I'll work with you and make sure I keep it reasonable :P

Re: Tenjin
In that case, consider yourself approved. I'll get everything properly set up tomorrow as it's too late for me to remember everything right now.
Re: Tenjin
I need to make a small change~ It was clarified to me(Thanks Nine!) the difference between Seeker & Paladin: my character is more inclined to Seeker. So I would request to change that please.
