Ding dong, demon calling [Guildless c-rank]
Hargeon town... How had he ended up here AGAIN? Vidrio really oughta start planning his journeys. This was the second time he had ended up back here. Like always, Vidrio's never ending journey had brought him back to a certain place. He really had no reason for being here, besides passing through. The world was, after all, a big place. He had seen a lot of it during his travels earlier in life, learnt a lot of things but maybe it was time to think about settling down? Problem was, every time Vidrio found himself faced with that question, he always realized he had no reason to. He was perfectly happy on the road, more or less. It had it's ups and downs but generally, it was a good, peaceful life.
Hargeon still looked relatively the same as it had before, sans one or two shops. Honestly, it was boring. There genuinely was nothing new in town. To be fair, It had only been a month or so, but it was still boring. The young Takeover mage sighed, seeing somebody approaching him. This had better not be another mugging attempt or so help him. The man approaching him stopped dead, seeing the frown marring Vidrio's face before sucking in a deep breath. "Hello there young man, you look decently.. uh.. strong of will. I require some assistance dealing with some local... thugs." The man stated, shifting nervously. Vidrio raised a single eyebrow, bemused at the nervousness of the man. "And who is it that needs help? What am I doing anyway?" Vidrio asked.
"So let me get this straight, Simone, was it? You want me to go and: Interrogate a thug, find and storm their base and get back to you? All of this to protect your business." Vidrio had started off asking questions, but had ended his sentence more like a statement. Before Simone could speak Vidrio sighed. "I'll do it, the town will be better off without them anyway. Just pay me when I get back and we go our separate ways, yeah?" Without giving time to answer Vidrio was off, in search of some unfortunate sod to tort..uh...interrogate.

The man beneath him screamed again, as Vidrio applied more pressure to his leg. He had been at this for an hour now, still no results. The man was, if nothing else, loyal to a fault. Vidrio could coax nothing out of this man. He had wanted to stop long ago, but he needed the location of this secret base to finish the job. The pain he was inflicting upon this pain, was not a pain he liked handing out. It was not the pain of battle, it was the pain of torture. Of breaking a man down to his barest parts. Vidrio growled, starting to get angry. This was getting ridiculous now.
"STOP! PLEASE! I'LL TELL YOU! THE BASE IS AT THE PORT, IN THE WESTERN WAREHOUSE!" The man had finally broken, after two hours of excruciating pain. Vidrio felt sick to his core, staring down at the man beneath him. He honestly would have felt better just decapitating the poor guy. All of said man's limbs had been snapped long ago. Since then other horrifying things had been done but here was neither the time nor the place for regrets. Vidrio had a warehouse to storm, and a few naughty boys to put in prison.
Vidrio made record time to the docks, this whole situation made him annoyed, angry and just plain tired. Getting to the western warehouse proved to be an interesting challenge as well, with dockworkers stopping him left and right offering him jobs. Vidrio didn't do menial work, he was a mage through and through. As he stalked closer to the warehouse entrance a thought made itself known. They didn't know he was coming...
This would be fun!

Re: Ding dong, demon calling [Guildless c-rank]
Vidrio tapped on the smaller warehouse door, dressed in the clothes of a deliveryman he... relieved of duty. They were a bit too big for him, that made them perfect for hiding his body build. He knew he looked a bit too fit to be a delivery man, he didn't want to blow his cover. From what he had learnt around town, these men were relatively small time thugs, using dirty tactics and wind magic to strong-arm shopkeepers. Dirty tactics eh, he wondered what that meant.
Abruptly, the door was thrown open, revealing a burly man covered in scars. The man gave off quite a bad aura... and smell. The man stared at Vidrio expectantly, and Vidrio knew he had to think up a cover story on the fly. "Hello there, I've been asked to deliver some lacrima to you gentleman for shadow heart." Vidrio said, smoothing his words out. Now that shadow heart was in the public eye, he might as well use it to his advantage. They had yet to contact him and he'd rather keep it that way. The big man raised his eyes in shock before grinning darkly. "Well then come in, we'd hate to keep you waiting for all your hard work." He said and stepped aside to let Vidrio in who fought to hide a smirk.
This was too easy, these rather stupid men were treating him like royalty simply for uttering the name shadow heart. None of them had asked where the lacrima were yet, Vidrio didn't mind. It proved this would probably be easy. He stood up and stretched slightly before throwing off his disguise. He saw the men panic before leaping to their feet, daggers in hand. Vidrio smirked, transforming into Mugetsu wordlessly before launching forward, burying his fist in the chest of one of them. He had taken them off guard and one of them had fallen for it, crumpled in a heap, unconscious. The other 3 were still however, in good condition.

- Name: Mugetsu
Rank: 2
MP Cost: 15
Power:
Speed: **
Toughness: ***
Magic: Dark
Description: The form of Mugetsu, looks a lot like perdido, Vidrio's old lion companion, with a few key differences. It's mane still appears to be made out of flames and glows brightly in the dark, but the form does not give vidrio access to the fire element. In this form Vidrio is covered in smooth, pitch black fur and his collar bone bursts into flames, which do not harm him. His face grows outward forming a lions snout while his eyes become like a lions golden yellow color with smaller pupils. His skeletal structure becomes more animalistic and his back hunches. He grows taller standing at 6"4' and his weight is 70 lbs. This form destroys most of what little clothing he wears, as his cargo pants rip at the knees leaving them as basically shorts and his gloves stretch with his arms staying where they should. In this form each finger and thumb has retractable cat like claws. Hitting this form has been likened to punching a steel girder, as this form boosts Vidrio's poor defense but barely increases everything else.

Re: Ding dong, demon calling [Guildless c-rank]
The men all lunged at him, painfully slowly. While in the form of Mugetsu, he liked to boast his speed was untouchable, his already inhuman speed being increased by his Takeover. As such, even though he was bigger than before, he still slid cleanly away from the thugs. One of them, the big one, growled as he threw his dagger to the floor before charging Vidrio, who smirked. For once he felt truly in control. Maybe it was because he was willingly using his power this time, who knew?
The big thug certainly didn't know. He swung at Vidrio, who caught the punch effortlessly, before sliding backwards. What was that, the wind magic he had heard of? He focused his eyes on the thugs hands, noticing slight swirls of debris caught in the winds circling his hands. Now that wouldn't do at all. Wind magic was very dangerous. Another wind blast hit him from behind, a thug had snuck up on him to attack. He growled, angry at the thugs and at himself. He was done playing. No more analyzing their movements. He had ignored his instincts, his inner demon, far too much. He started gathering energy in his palm, smirking at how tense the two thugs he could see were. The other one was trying, and failing to get behind him unnoticed. These idiots wouldn't know what stealth was if it killed them.
He growled as the energy fully gathered in his hand, shaped like a Japanese Daito, before looking at the two thugs now in front of him. "Prepare to vanish, NEW MOON'S EDGE!" He yelled spinning and unleashing his attack behind him. It had caught the "sneaky" thug off guard, annihilating him completely. It should've done that anyway because of how much Vidrio had focused on that attack, training it day and night.
Two down, Two to go.

- New moon's edge:
- Spell name: New moon's edge
Element: Dark
Rank: 2
MP cost: 15
Effect: Vidrio , as Mugetsu, gathers darkness magic in his right hand. He then molds it and sharpens it into a bladed edge, in the shape of a short-sword. He raises the pseudo-sword in the air and swings downwards. As he does this he releases control of the magic, sending it forward. As it travels at Roughly 60 m/s it loses its shape and becomes simply a thin sharpened wave of black energy. This wave cannot change direction however and travels in a straight line until it collides with something, like an opponent, a tree or the ground. While it is traveling it releases dark magic into the air making the area darker.

Re: Ding dong, demon calling [Guildless c-rank]
Vidrio spun on his heel to smirk at the two remaining thugs. They seemed to be in shock of having watched their, Friend?, die. Vidrio himself was slightly surprised that killing a man hadn't affected him quite as bad as it should've but he had done worse today. Torturing a man had shut off his morals for now. He growled when he saw the big thug throw himself at Vidrio, launching wind blast after wind blast at him. It was actually quite hard to stay standing now an that dagger would hurt. Well it would've, had Vidrio not had a plan in motion already.
He wordlessly summoned his shady claws, slashed through the dagger and cut the thug's chest. The shady claws countered most if not all non holder weapons, they were that sharp. He slashed again, grazing the man's cheek before kicking the man in the stomach, winding him and launching him into the unconscious thug. Vidrio smirked at the remaining thug, ducking under a dagger swing and swinging his own claws upwards...and immediately wishing he could take that back. Oh, he had brought the guy down, by clawing his genitals. Vidrio, a fellow male, said a silent prayer for that, he hadn't meant to do that. He seriously hoped prison had good doctors.
His walk back to Simone had been shorter than his walk to the port. He had walked all the way as Mugetsu out of pure annoyance. After un-transforming and giving Simone the news about the fight, leaving nothing out, he received his pay with a hearty thank you. He didn't care, not anymore. Pure anger filled his being at the thought of all that had happened as he raced off.
Towards Hosenka town.
Mission complete
Word count: 1587/1000
Spell name: Shady claws
Element: Dark
Rank: 1
MP cost: 10, 5 to sustain
Effect: In the Mugetsu form, Vidrio can extend his retractable claws to 20 cm long (average Tanto length) using sharpened dark magic. These new "dark claws" appear as if they are not solid, more like wisps of magic leaving his fingertips. These claws cut cleanly through objects like a magic sword would, not tear through flesh like claws. Vidrio can use these claws for over purposes like climbing, but they are best at what they're made for, mutilating some unfortunate sod's poor body.
