Two Dragons, One Bar
Evening in Magnolia was one of the more livelier times in the city's life. Maybe the folks were party animals. Maybe it was how rowdy the local guild was. Or maybe they were just naturally drawn to such diversions to ease the stress from the war. Regardless of why, Raven had walked by two or three groups of people who were enjoying themselves maybe a little too much already.
He took in a deep breath through his nose, something he did when he simply wanted to know what was going on around him, before letting out a sigh. He was slightly on edge, as if he'd walked into a powerful creature's territory, but didn't know why. So he decided he'd stop in for a drink. What's the worst that could happen?
He stepped into one of the smaller bars and scanned the area. It was mostly empty, save for a few patrons playing cards in the back corner. The bar itself looked rather clean and well kept. And it had an assortment of colorful bottles and such on the back wall behind the bar tender. The stools also had backs to them so one could lean back if they wanted. Fancy.
"I'll have bourbon on the rocks," Raven ordered as he took off his jacket. Hanging it up on the back of the chair, he sat down. The dragon wings on the back of it faced the door, and looked as if they'd been folded onto his back like real wings. His white shirt was two buttons undone, and the sleeves were also unbuttoned. A bit of dust from his travels clung to his black boots and pants, and his hair looked unkempt. "Actually, make it two."
He was in the mood to just sit and relax... and that's what he was going to do.

Re: Two Dragons, One Bar
Relaxing at a bar sounded like a good plan for the evening. Hannah knew of a small bar where she could go knock back a few drinks and just stop giving a damn. She had been working hard lately and could use the break from it. The town was lively tonight, but Hannah didn’t want to party hard. She had seen a number of people doing that already, and it looked fun, just not tonight.
She hoped the bar wasn’t too busy and as she approached it looked like her hopes would come true. There weren’t as many people on this street as the others, and the bar didn’t sound or smell too busy from this distance. She went inside and luckily she was right. Just a few people in the corner and a guy at the bar. Not a bad looking guy either.
Hannah wondered if she could get free drinks from the man, so she took a seat a short distance away. Hannah also had a jacket, but hers was black and leather and she hung it on the back of her chair. She heard him order a pair of bourbon on the rocks. That sounded like a good enough drink. “I’ll have one of those too.” She said as she sat down and leaned back with a small sigh. “You come here often?” She asked the new man in the bar.

Raven turned his head when his new companion for the possible evening. She ordered the same bourbon he did. So he knew she was intending to chill with him. Which was fine by him, she was good looking and he was looking to have a good night. When she spoke to him he grinned slightly.
"I was just passing through and decided to stop here for the evening,"Raven stated with a small shrug. There was something off about her scent... it was strangely metallic, but he paid it no mind for the time being. Instead he focused on his first drink.
"What about you?" Raven asked with a playful grin. The barkeeper stood back cleaning up the bar and tried to look busier than he actually was. Raven took a sip from his drink, letting the ice clink in the glass before continuing. "What name should I be putting to such a pretty face?"

It worked. Hannah had his attention. She probably shouldn’t have been planning to flirt with this man to get drinks as she already had someone else she was flirting with some, but hey, no harm no fowl right? And its not like they were dating or anything. She was a grown woman and could do what she wanted, and right now she wanted a drink.
He was just passing through, so that sounded perfect to her. She wasn’t exactly paying attention, but something felt off, or more smelled off. But she wasn’t paying attention and attributed it to a smelly bar. She took a swig of her drink and let out a sigh. It was relaxing at least.
“I just needed a place to relax, wind down after a long day, and all that junk.” It was true, even if she made it sound like she didn’t care. She took another sip from her drink, and she was probably drinking it too fast. She wasn’t exactly a big person, and she didn’t exactly have a ton of tolerance built up. “You can call me Hannah.” She liked the pretty face comment. “And what name should I put with such a good looking man?”

Hannah, that was a fairly lovely name. Something that slid off the tongue smoothly. He liked that in a name if he was honest with himself. It was hard not to be now that he had a drink in hand. Even harder since Hannah not only looked good but had a comforting, familiar presence about her. He didn't understand why, nor did he bother trying. For now, he'd relax and worry in the morning when the hangover reminded him how terrible it was to drink.
"You can call me Raven," He replied keeping his playful grin up. He gave his glass a quick shake to stir the alcohol across the ice. He was a fan of the bite that alcohol came with, but he wasn't against watering it down slightly when in good company. After all... why rush when you're there to enjoy yourself?
"You sound as though you usually have to deal with a lot," Raven nodded a rested his elbows on the bar. His chin rested near his hands, which still held the drink. He took a slow sip of it, savoring every moment of the burning sensation. However since it wasn't fire, or heat of any kind, he still had to be careful about it.
"So, just what would keep a vixen like you busy and in need of a stiff drink at the end of the day?" Raven asked figuring it wouldn't hurt to ask. The worst that'd happen is she'd leave. And the best was that she'd answer it. Either way, it was a win/win for Raven. Even though part of him wanted her to stick around for the night.
