General Appearance: Athest the Shadow Dragon is a sleek black dragon who's scales seem to be dark as the shadows themselves. His eyes burn a blood red, and he has a gaze that seems to see through all that he looks at. Athest has four powerful, clawed legs and a set of wings, all of which bear the same inky black color as his scales. On the left side of his face is a large scar from an age long past.

Personality: Athest is a cunning dragon, one who trusts no one, least of all the humans. Like the other dragons, he raised a child to be a dragon slayer using the element of shadow. Unlike the other dragons, however, he believes that humans are basically evil creatures, and without their guidance, they will bring themselves to ruin. He is more specific in his wording than the other dragons, though he is also far more cynical.
