The man at the counter scowled at Kasimir as the strange man forced his way into the 'transaction’ that was going on. What Kasimir would be able to see at this point was that this wasn’t a mage. This was a mundane man, from the looks of things. pistol he had been trying to hide from the view of all but the clerk seemed to be a budget pistol. Was this the same robbery Mordekai had spoken of? How dangerous was a guy with a pistol compared to some group of terrorist mages the world was so afraid of?

It wasn’t so much that it was a guy with a pistol though. Who knew what the rest of the suspicious people had in their pockets? Well, that was simple enough to find out. Because the man up front lost his cool when Kasimir butted in, and the people around him started shouting because of Giovanni. The pistol flew out of his pocket, and and he pointed straight at Kasimir. “Sit down and shut up kid!” the big man threatened Kaz. At his brash reaction, five other men brandished their own hidden weapons. The two with longer coats pulling out swords, while the remaining three pulled out their own combination of pistols and knives.

Panic ensued. People started scrambling to escape. The five thugs who weren’t preparing to shoot Kasimir started pointing their pistols in the air and firing into the ceiling. What did they care if there was a panic at this point? The nervous man up front had made their job infinitely harder. “ALL OF YOU SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!” the man up front ordered. He was slightly panicked, obviously, but he was still the one in charge. “The next person to move gets a bullet to the brain stem!” The people around the three enlisted mages seemed to stop, afraid they would be the next target.

One unlucky woman and child didn’t stop, however. They sprinted for the door, hoping against hope they would make it out of the situation completely. The robber nearest the back was one of the pistol wielders, and he took aim, prepared to make good on his promise, woman and child or not.

Kaz's gaze swept down to what the man was holding, noticing the pistol pointed at the teller. The crowd was yelling at him to sit down - he thought he recognized the original owner of the voice. Back-up huh... Hopefully it will cause a scene instead of providing a distraction... The temporary worry was suspended by a more immediate one when the man yelled and pointed the gun at him. He cast a glance at the crowd, noticing the other men stepping forward with their own weapons. So this really was the band of robbers then.

Kaz pretended to be taken aback by the man's anger. "Geez, wow, no need for that, I'm sorry," Kaz took a single step back. His foot slammed against the ground, the ensuing tremors rocking everything and everyone in the bank. He was too far away to hit some of the further away robbers, or Geo or Aj, but it would definitely hit anyone within a close enough radius - for one, the guy pointing the gun at him. The teller and some of the other customers shrieked, collapsing on the ground. Kaz was the only one who remained perfectly in place, frozen until the spell ended. As soon as it ended, in one fluid motion he both unstrapped his sword and swiped against the man in the jacket. "Everyone, RUN!" He shouted loudly. This was going to turn into a fight, but they wouldn't be able to fight properly with so many innocents here. He half looked behind him to see if anyone was following his advice, only to see a woman and child bolting towards the door... and one of the robbers taking aim. Mentally swearing, but still in the middle of his swing, Kaz could only pray that one of his makeshift companions would be able to do something about it.

Well Geo couldn't be too mad, his and Kasmir's assertion was right. The guy ahead of the line was in fact a robber, and all of the weird customers were in fact the other robbers. Geo tried to take quick glances around as the other robbers bulled out their weapons. Just standard swords and guns, no magical lacrima embedded weapons. That was the only good news. As long as none of the robbers were mages, the ragtag group may be able to take them all out before Kai got back. The bad news was that there were so many people in the bank. Way too many to be able to fight without hurting innocents. It also allowed for the robbers to have as many hostages as they needed.

Geo's gaze swept towards Kaz's direction. The robber, tellers, and customers around him seemed to be shaking, falling, and shrieking. Kaz just stood there perfectly still as everyone around him were struggling to stand up. That had to be part of his magic. He was trying to get the robber off balanced. Geo had to do the same and protect the hostages. It didn't help much that Kaz told the people to run. The idea was right, they had to get the people out of the bank, but to have them run frantically away from a bunch of gun wielding maniacs was insane.

They would have to take the attention off of the hostages and onto them before they could escape. Unfortunately a woman and her child took the advice of Kaz. One of the robbers closer to the back aimed his gun towards the woman. Shit. Geo rushed towards the woman and child. He only hoped he could make it in time before the trigger was pulled. As Geo got closer to the woman it was apparent that he wouldn't be able to make it. Geo concentrated on the gravity around his hand, compressing it until it made a ball. If he couldn't block the attack himself, he could change the trajectory. Giovanni grabbed the black ball of gravitation and threw it behind the woman and child. He prayed to god that the gravitational pull was string enough.

Vortex got up and run to the door as soon as he saw the gun been pull out. Passing the luckily people that were able to get out in time. With quick reflexes he grab unto the close person and pull them in front of hum. "Go down the street, in about three block, their are some MC member staton there. Tell them what happing and be fast about it." With an push in the right duration he head inside to see the leader level a gun at the back of a running mother and child. He only took a movement before he run to them.

'How dare he tries something like this!' Was the only thought in Vortex mind as he begin to charge up his roar. He vaguely notice that Gio thrown something and that the hostages where backing up to the walls, leaving the middle floor clear. As he finally near the running figures he saw the gunman focus. As soon as he was in hand area he unleash his roar. "Sky Dragon Roar!" His shout drone out the sound of the gunshot as his tornado like blast race across the room. Vortex hopes that it took out the bullet as it nears the gunman.

For a long moment, time seemed to have frozen as the man whipped out the pistol in order to shoot the helpless woman and child. All three 'heroes' in the bank saw, and those that could had moved to intercept before something terrible happened. In a flash, that terrifying moment was over. The sound of a gunshot rang out, audible even among the other sounds of the robbers trying to gain control of the situation.

It was hard to tell what happened with the bullet - between the dragon roar and the gravity ball, the gunshot went off, and the bullet ricocheted away, apparently never to be seen again. The woman screamed, crouching and trying to shield her child from harm. The man looked on in amazement, but it wasn’t Giovanni he was looking at. He had just witnessed a dragon slayer’s roar. He was visibly quaking in his boots because of it, and for a moment it looked like he’d forgotten about the Fairy Tail boy who had also prevented his attack.

His eyes snapped back to Geo, however, and he put the gun up again. “I-I don’t know who you people are… but I’m not going to let you get any closer!” he yelled, closing his eyes and pulling the trigger again It would be hard to hit his target since he closed his eyes, but this man was more panicked than the rest of them.

None of them had missed the dragon roar ripping through the lobby, however. Even the man Kasimir had been swinging at noticed the attack just in time to get distracted from Kaz’s blow. He took the hit, crumpling to the ground unceremoniously. The others all turned to pay attention to the three heroes who were ruining their plans. They’d even managed to get all of the guards out of the area at this time! How could such an easy job go wrong?!

That was when another man walked through the door. The look in his eye was confident behind the mask he wore. He had long, spiky hair and dark skin, and In his hands were weapons far more dangerous than what the robbers had been wielding – a pair of lacrima-enhanced holder daggers. “You idiots had an easy job!” he barked at the panicking men. “Now I’ve got to clean up after you!” With a scowl, he turned to AJ, flinging his dagger at the dragon slayer. The dagger would be rather dangerous if it struck his opponent, and once the attack had hit or missed, he would instantly return the dagger to his hand. His other dagger, he threw at Geo, with the same results.

Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite) - Page 2 Empty Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)

Post by Kasimir Sewik Fri Apr 18, 2014 11:26 am

As soon as Kaz felt the blow connect, he whirled around to face the source of the dragon roar. The person at the door was none other than... Vortex. A dragonslayer... What the hell, is it just a coincidence?! Maybe Mordekai had a more discerning eye than Kaz gave him credit for. Or maybe this was some kind of elaborate setup after all.

Whatever, those details didn't matter right now - they still had plenty of other issues to deal with. There were still  other robbers holding knives and other dangerous weapons. Although none of them seemed to have any magical talent... heck, the weapons weren't even holder types. Especially after Vortex's roar, the entire group of would-be robbers were literally shaking in their boots. Something wasn't right here... These robbers seemed almost too timid and pathetic... especially since Mordekai made them sound like part of Fiore's terrorist group.

Well, no time to take it for granted. Kaz used their temporary cowering state to dash closer to the rest of the group, especially the panicked one with the gun. As he started to raise it, Kaz half tackled him, trying to point the gun towards the ceiling - hopefully avoiding hitting Geo and any other innocents that might be hit from the crossfire. "Please don't do that," Kaz flinched, this was really becoming far more chaotic than he wanted. Raising the hilt of his sword, he aimed to slam it against the other man's head. In the robbers' current state, they were more likely to hit the crowd than any of the three wizards.

That's when the masked man entered near Vortex. Now he was certainly more along the lines of what Kaz had expected. If all their would-be robbers were half as capable, their little hero group would've had a lot more trouble protecting everyone. Kaz hesitated when the fighting began - he was far enough away to avoid the masked man's ire. For now. He could jump in to help Geo and Vortex but... He looked again at the terrified crowd. With the masked man and Vortex literally fighting in the entranceway, escaping through that door was literally out of the question. Maybe through a fire exit or some other means of escape, Kaz could get them out... but for now, there were too many variables.

"I think you're out of your league, why don't you just throw down your weapons and I won't have to hit you?" Kaz turned towards the other less magically talented robbers, seeing if they still had the will to fight after everything that had happened. For now, he'd leave the more serious threat to Vortex and Geo, and hopefully find a way to get the others to safety.

The bullet aimed at the woman had either successfully been pulled into the Gravita Della Terra or blown to pieces by Vortex's roar. Geo let loose a sigh. But, he had no time to rest. There were more robbers, and even more bystanders. He would have to think of a way to protect them and fight the robbers at the same time. Luckily Kaz was already busy taking care of a two of the robbers, so he wouldn't have to do much on his own. But Vortex, who knew he would be a dragonslayer. Geo was surprised and intrigued, but now was not the time to be caught up with those trivial matters. The had a robbery to stop.

Most of the robbers were afraid to do anything, on the count of Vortex's loud roar. This seemed too easy. Why would Kai make such a big deal about the robbery, when the robbers where nothing more than some sniveling grown men with non magical weapons. He would have easily been able to handle them all, with no casualties or problems. There was something off about it all.

Geo's train of thought was cut off by the sound of a gun firing. The assailant was tackled by Kaz but the bullet still trailed off towards Geo. Geo opened his hand picking up the black orb and bringing it to his side. The gravitational pull of the orb pulled the bullet in destroying it and the orb. There were far to many stray bullets flying around. Geo formed another GDT and threw it in the center of the hostages, using it as a safety measure if a bullet were to come near them.

Just then a masked man walked into the bank. "And enters the typical ringleader on cue," Geo whispered to himself. The spiky haired man suddenly threw a dagger towards Geo. Geo almost shook the dagger off as a normal weapon until it got closer. Geo automatically felt the difference in the dagger compared to a normal one. Geo put out his palm and created a gravitational repulsive field to shield himself from the dagger. The shield was barely strong enough to stop the dagger. The dagger flew back to its master as if it had a mind of its own. Ok first thing first, find out what his magic is. If we can do that this'll be alot easier. Geo looked at Kaz who was taking on the small fries. Well it would just be him and Vortex on this one.

(OOC:Srry for the wait! Anyways I didn't see no rules for multi spells or using the same spell more than once~ So you guys get some Armors!)

'Maybe I over did it?' Vortex thought as his roar fade away in to a peaceful gale. All around him where people in a sense of shock because of his roar. Until the leader started to panic and shoot randomly. 'Idiot man, he just digging his own grave with his action!' He was planing to confront him when he heard a sound come behind him. Looking back he saw a other man who proclaim himself as one of them. It was this time that the man thrown a dagger at him. With a smirk, Vortex ran around it, aiming for it's wilder.

He channel his magic from inside him, spreading it to ever section of his body. A light aura overcome him as he whisper the spell name, "Armor". With his 'armor' in place he prepare for a faint. If it work his opponent would expect a left punch but vortex will fall down and complete a leg sweep at the last second. "Gio, try to attack him from a range! Anyway he a little help! Armor!" His magic surge two more times, one for Gio and one for Kasimir. By the time he finish he was already at his target to start his faint.

There was no way the robbers were going to listen to Kasimir once their rather scary leader waltzed through the door like he owned the place. Almost as soon as he did, they acted like they were more scared of him than any other consequences, and immediately they focused their attention on Kasimir. "CHAAAARGE!" Each of them charged Kasimir... save for the one that just got hit with the hilt of the sword, who had crumpled onto the ground. It was almost sad how panicked they were... several of them had had guns, and yet they were still charging the young man, each trying to beat him down with a combination of fists, pistol whips, and swords. They weren't the most skilled, but they did have the advantage of numbers, which could become a problem if Kasimir didn't do something about them quickly.

Meanwhile, the masked man seemed to almost be grinning as AJ charged him. His two opponents had managed to dodge his daggers, and one of his opponents appeared to be a dragon slayer. What they were doing in place of the council members who should have shown up was his guess, but he didn't rightly care. "Ha!" he chortled as Vortex's feint was stopped. His eyes widened though as the dragon slayer moved to trip him, successfully.

The man did a flip in midair, catching himself and slashing at Vortex with his dagger, apparently holding off on using magic again so quickly. If it worked, he would attempt to stab the man immediately after before moving on to Geo. If not, he would simply keep up the assault, trying to stay on the offensive in the fight, almost seeming to ignore Geo for now.

They never listened. Why did they never listen? "Ch..." Kaz raised his sword, preparing himself again for combat. Quickly he scanned the oncoming enemies. Some were running toward him with guns. What the heck? Had they never even used these weapons before? There were many enemies, though, and Kaz kept his senses sharp. Even if they were weak individually, together they might catch him off guard.

He dodged the first man's punch, ducking under the man's clumsy blow. Kaz swept with his leg against the man's knees, hopefully to kick him off balance. Before he'd even finished moving, another man was already upon him, yet with another sword in hand. Still twisting from the sweep, Kaz slammed his sword against the other man's blade. The metal clanged loudly, making Kaz's teeth chatter. Before he could register whether he'd disarmed his opponent, yet a third man slammed the flat of his pistol against Kaz's head.

"Owww..." Kaz staggered away. Hm actually... that hadn't hurt at all, and Kaz had reacted mainly in surprise. What was up with that? He cast a quick glance at Aj. Maybe it was because of that spell? Well, no time to ponder now. In the time that Kaz had met the first two opponents, the other men had taken the opportunity to surround Kaz in a semi-circle. He frowned and glared unhappily at the man who had just hit him. Kaz failed to understand why the other man hadn't just shot, but... then again, they seemed pretty frantic.

Kaz steadied himself, quickly analyzing his remaining opponents. He didn't see much use to his magic right now, and planned to take them out with just his sword. He needed to end this soon and hopefully catch up to help Geo and Aj...

Giovanni waited for his chance to strike. He didn't have a lot of mana to waste so he would have to choose his movements precisely. The wrong move could mean death for him and his comrades. Geo finally found his opening when Vortex charged the masked man. Vortex's first attack missed the man completely but his leg sweep was successful. "Perfect"

Giovanni concentrated on the gravity around his body. His weight was completely halved. He was only on the ground through sheer will power. Geo charged towards the masked man at a blinding speed breaking the grasp of gravity. He felt a strange aura appear around him. It must have been a spell used by Vortex or Kaz. Whatever it was it made Geo feel safe enough to go through with his assault He jumped before he reached Vortex and the masked man. Above the two, Giovanni threw a punch at the masked assailant. As his fist was coming down Geo increased the gravity around his fist, to increase the force of the blow. If the blow connected the man would obviously hurt.

He smile as the kick reach his target, sending the man into the air. Yet his victory was only sort live as he righted himself in the air. Vortex papered himself at the nick of time, saving him from being slice by the man daggers. ‘What! How does he have his dagger back?’ He couldn’t think any more of the though as he started to backpedal, dodging the offending items. He couldn’t keep it up for long but he endures the barrage for the time being. It was then that he notices Gio coming in for a sucker punch. With a smirk, he slow down to led the man in to the thought of him tiring.

He knew that it would make him lose his armor but the chance to knock this person out sound good to him. He stops and let the first dagger stab him on the right shoulder blade, just under the joint bone. With quick reflexes and some experience he grabs the second dagger and holds the other one in place. Or that is the idea, and if that succeed he will try to slip under his guard and try to head-butt him to daze him.

(Geo - since you didn't post what spell it was I'm counting his attack as a normal one for damage purposes)

Fortunately for AJ, his tactic seemed to work that time. The knife slashed into his shoulder, dispersing his magical protection at the same time, but the headbutt obviously worked. The man cried out in pain as he stepped back, dazed, just in time to get smashed by Geo's own magically-enhanced attack. He flew back into the wall, dazed for a moment before standing up slowly.

"Well, well, you pups have a bit of bite after all," he grinned, despite a bloody  lip and bruised forehead. "But you know, you kids really should know when to cut your losses and run." The dagger he had let go of  when headbutted ripped its way out of where it was embedded, landing in his hand again. He didn't seem to notice or care that his mask had come off after both blows to the head "Now, be good kids and die!" he yelled, charging Giovanni this time, kicking at his shin, followed by punching for his gut using the pommel of the dagger rather than the blade. If that connected, he would then try to stab him and be over with it.

Meanwhile, the third man seemed rattled by striking suddenly against Kasimir's wind armor. He took a step back, looking surprised before he remembered he did not, in fact, have a club. He had a pistol. He raised it to fire, just as the first two men recovered their weapons and stood up to charge him if the fiery bullet didn't take him down.

The odd sensation around Kaz began to disappear. He had been so focused on the battle that he hadn't even realized it was there, until it was gone. The man who had just whacked him raised the pistol to fire. That could be a problem. Kaz closed the small distance between them, swinging his sword heavily. He was going to have to be fast to face the two opponents behind him. The bullet whizzed by far too close for comfort, Kaz striking at almost the same time.

Two left. He flipped around just in time, one of his foes already upon him. His enemy's sword nicked his shoulder, tearing through his coat. He flinched, a few drops of blood blossoming from where he'd been hit. This had gone on for far too long. Kaz took an uncertain step back, the second enemy rushing in to cover his ally. He met the other's blade - more than that, Kaz slammed all his power against it. A two-handed sword was heavy. Combined with Kaz's power, it would be enough to disarm lesser foes. As soon as that was finished, he turned his blade against the last one - the one who had given him his new wound. It was minor, but still annoying. I really don't have time for you guys... Kaz grit his teeth. He could hear how intense the other fight was, although he couldn't afford to look right now.

'Ugh, that hurts!' Let it be known that Aj Luna was not one for pain. After managing to stun the guy ,and keeping his hood on at the same time, he saw Gio came down and punch him. Yet the man seems to have shake it off completely. It was only than that the dagger in his shoulder blade was rip out and flew to the man. 'Eh, so that how!' He was panting by now, he was not one for combat, but was planing on a idiotic run. With the man running to Gio he race after him, silently calling wind to his legs.

When he was sure he got all that he can, Luna jump up and swing his leg up in a arc, "sky dragon claw". This cause all the gather wind to push away and race to the man from behind. As soon as his feet touch the ground, Luna race after his "claws". His hope was if they hit that he can follow up with a kick to the chest. And if that doesn't work he would be in area for a side kick with a downward kick combo. Edith way he was hoping to keep this man down.

- Sky Dragon Claw follow by a straight kick to the back/chest
- Side kick with downward kick to follow

Slamming into Geo, the man sent him flying into the wall, knocking him out cold, at least temporarily. Apparently the kid was lighter than he’d expected. No matter, that let him focus on the dragon slayer that was attacking him. He grinned a wild grin just as the sky dragon claw slammed into his arm, ripping his clothing and causing him to flinch. He took the remaining kicks as well, apparently unable to switch targets as fast he had wanted to. AJ was quick. He stumbled back, his arm bleeding, still wearing that stupid grin.“Heh. I thought dragon slayers were supposed to be stronger, my masked friend,” he told AJ before flipping his daggers around in his hand and slashing at AJ from a range, producing a cone-shaped shockwave that would knock AJ back before he leapt at his opponent to try to finish the job on him as well.

Meanwhile, the final thug eyed his downed companions, flinching when the magic-wielding leader was hit by AJ’s powerful assault. He turned just long enough to see his leader still standing, and quickly raised his weapon for another strike. He couldn’t give up! If he did he would be captured! There was still a chance as long as his boss was standing!

Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite) - Page 2 Empty Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)

Kaz looked up just in time to see the Fairy Tail guy go flying. Whoa... that hit looked strong, and painful. Thankfully Aj was on top of him the moment he attacked, stopping the once-masked guy from finishing Fairy Tail wizard with anything lethal. But he hardly had time to watch someone else's fight. The final thug was raising his own weapon against Kaz. Immediately Kaz's attention snapped back to his opponent. Ignoring his bleeding shoulder, Kaz blocked the first strike with his own sword. The metal clanged loudly. There was only one left! With a might stroke, he swung against his last opponent.

Originally Kaz had planned to evacuate the citizens stuck in the bank. But with Geo down, and Aj on the defensive, it seemed they needed all the help they could get. At least the other thugs wouldn't be causing more trouble with their poor aim. As fast as he could, Kaz dashed to where the other two were locked in combat - Aj and the boss robber. If they could just defeat him, this would all be over! What was taking the Magic Council so long anyway?! They should have been here a long time ago! Mordekai was going to have some explaining to do when he got back...

"This is gonna hurt." And with that he took the hit nearly point-base, getting push back across the room. He was luckily that he stop before hitting the wall, yet he is on his last leg. Just two more lucky hit like that and he down for the out. It was around that time that he notice the man was above him with his dagger out. With a slight grunt, he raise both feet into the air, knees touching his chest. And as the man got into range he last out with a kick, hoping to hit his chest. With that done, he jump into action once more.

Jumping into his feet, he took hold of what happing. It seems like all the grunts are out of the games and Kasimir was coming to help. "Let's finish this!" He yell out to him, as he run forward to the enemy. He push forward with a quick kick to the side, when he remember one little fact. 'I got magic on my side!' Jumping backward to get some range in-between them, he prepared his roar. 'Let's hope this is it!' With all air coming fort in front of him, he unleash everything he have to the enemy. "Sky Dragon Roar!"

The masked man had been charging at AJ at the same time, and when AJ yelled out as he charged, he was far too close to properly dodge the dragon roar as AJ used it once again. It slammed into him, sending him flying backwards into the wall. He got up, his head bleeding from the impact and his mask finally falling off. The fact that he wasn't wearing a mask probably didn't make much difference though, because he didn't seem familiar.

“Get out of my way, kid!” he yelled angrily, raising the dagger and diving towards the dragon slayer with reckless abandon. With his minions knocked out and his plan slowly falling apart, he seemed to be losing his cool. He slashed at AJ three times in succession before kicking at his stomach to try and send him flying. He then turned his attention to the newly arrived contender. Kasimir might have been hit, but he was in a lot better shape than the other two that had been fighting the man.

He charged Kasimir as well, trying to dodge his large sword and strike with his dagger. Everything he did was with a sense of reckless abandon, and he was far more concerned with hurting them than with saving himself.

Kaz was still on his way over when the once masked man recklessly assaulted Aj. He'd barely reached their range when suddenly their opponent switched mid-stride, instead coming after Kaz. He barely had time to lift his own sword, the first strike clanging loudly in the enclosed room. The dagger swipe, Kaz failed to block. It ripped through the side of his coat, drawing more blood. Releasing their temporary lock, Kaz took a few steps back. Their opponent had gone completely crazy. But he couldn't be shocked forever - Kaz lifted his own sword in retaliation, swinging it against the last opponent.

"The Magic Council's gonna be here any second," Kaz tried to reason with the man while they fought. Although he seriously doubted he would listen - but Kaz still had to try. He really hoped his words were true too.... The Magic Council should have already been here, which meant they would pop in at any moment. "All your guys are down and you're barely standing. Why don't you call it quits for now? You're only going to add to your record by the time the Magic Council arrives." It would be so much easier if this guy would listen to reason. Kaz was breathing lightly from taking on the rest of the robbers, plus now this wizard opponent. But he was still in far superior condition, and was completely confident he would win even without Aj at this point.

He move backwards as the enemy move to strike him. Only he slip and was slash with the third one and took the fellow up kick. He gasp as he was sent flying away from the fighting, the pain was almost too much. Yet he fought it down to stay at some level of awareness. He look over at the shapeless figures, trying with all his might the tell them apart. It was then that he felt someone drag him over to a wall. He wanted to lash out but his body didn't have the energy to. Luckily it was only the bank manger and not a other enemy.

He was drag to a small group of people who stay to watch the fight, the others had left while he and Gio was taking the boss down. They pop him on the wall facing Kasimir and the boss but for the most part out of sight from the two. He wanted to go and help but his body couldn't even move on it own anymore with out surges of pain. So he had no choice but stay out of the fight and hope for the best. "Maybe, this was the wrong idea?"

The formerly masked man didn't hear Kasimir, he was too deep in his battle lust to have taken any of that into consideration and he absolutely refused to acknowledge defeat. So what if the magic council managed to catch him, he would simply kill them too. The one still standing was about to fall and with it down to them it was time to take eliminate the final piece.
"There's still time to take you down first." He said, not shouting, but in a cold guttural growl.

That was all the warning that he gave as he charged again, slashing with his dagger and preparing to use his shockwave again. If he could do it in this close of a range he would be able to cause some serious harm, in the mean time, he slid his foot forward, launching himself and aiming to put his foot on the ground between Kasimir's legs and sought to drive his dagger deep into his opponent's chest. He almost drooled at the thought of putting an end to this whole situation, and as he ran he even prepared a couch instinctively to try to dodge a sword thrust or mid to high slash. All was not lost, he could still win the day and put an end to this group of do gooders.

Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite) - Page 2 Empty Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)

Kaz watched helplessly as now Aj was tossed aside. Dang, another one bit the dust. The blow hadn't been quite as hard as when Geo was hit, but Aj looked to be in equally poor condition. Dang, and that had been the dragon slayer, too... Which just left Kaz as the sole defender against this madman. Why me?! He wondered hopelessly, lifting his blade as the other man prepared to attack. Curses, he was the most normal, unimpressive one of the entire group - not like Mr. Fairy Tail and definitely not a dragon slayer. So how the hell was he the last one standing? If he went down, then they'd all be in serious trouble. Talk about pressure.

The man's movements were so crazy, Kaz couldn't tell if he was winding up to do one of his blade techniques, or was just running in to attack. Kaz decided he didn't want to end up like his dragon slayer friend. As the man rushed in for an attack, Kaz firmly planted his feet, summoning magical energy. The floor between him and opponent shifted, rising to create a rock wall, although the poor tile of the bank also rose with it. Nothing could be done about the damage at the moment; Kaz preferred his life over the property. Hoping that the sudden earth wall had at least stunned his opponent, Kaz dashed to the side, swinging his blade and prepared to resume the fight.

Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite) - Page 2 Empty Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)

Post by Mordekai Argon Sun Jun 15, 2014 5:20 pm

(Sorry this took so long. I've been a bit stressed to reply properly. I'm going to bring this thread to a close in the next few posts so we can move on.)

"Crap crap crap crap!" Mordekai had heard the fighting from where he was sitting. Unfortunately, he'd been caught up in his own little ordeal with an ex who wouldn't listen to his insistence that he was on business. The fact that she'd magically chained him to a pole had made it hard to dismiss her. Now, he was racing towards the scene with as much speed as he could.

He arrived just in time to see Geo out cold, but alive, and AJ being tossed aside by a man who looked more than a little bit angry. Kasimir was facing him alone, but it looked like he stood a good chance of winning if he kept a cool head. Still, Mordekai had let this go on long enough.

Unsheathing his sword, he charged it with electrical energy, racing towards the villain. Just as Kasimir's own blade slashed a small gash into the man's side, Kai flipped his own blade around and bashed it into the back of the man's head as he was shocked with what had to be a dangerously high amount of electricity.

Smoking, the enraged man fell over, unconcious, and Kai flipped his blade around and reattached it to his back where it belonged.

He gave Kai a slightly sheepish grin. "Sorry about that. I ran into a bit of trouble of my own. Didn't even have time to round people up properly." At least the perps were all taken care of. Their leader was unconscious on the floor, and Kai knew of someone in town who would be able to extract whatever information he had in his brain whether he wanted to talk or not.

"We'll have people to take care of the kid and that Vortex guy," he said as he glanced down and noticed Kasimir wasn't exactly unscathed either. "And you as well, it seems. You've done a good job." Mordekai took out a letter he had pre-prepared while he had been waiting to act before everything went down. "Here, show this to people if you have any trouble in the future. Consider it a pardon for any stupid rules you might have accidentally broken. And an apology for me being so late."

Kaz felt his blade connect, but the blow still wasn't going to be enough to finish the man. As he prepared to exchange blows again, abruptly Kai appeared behind the opponent. The enemy was taken out instantly, leaving Kaz still panting for breath. The fact that the fight was over failed to register in his mind, as Kaz kept his blade readied, as if to defend against an attack. He stared at Kai for probably too much time, before the result finally clicked. Finally he sheathed his blade, wincing a bit as he felt his wounds even more. Almost instinctively, Kaz first looked towards where his companions had fallen - they still appeared alive, but definitely in worse shape than Kaz.

Then Kaz returned his gaze back to Mordekai. The angry glare was not one Kaz could replicate easily. Kai was more than late. A lot had gone wrong, and could have easily become much worse. So much of it could have been avoided, too. "Yeah, you're late," Kaz's voice was thick with his emotions. He was never good at hiding these kind of things. It took a lot to make him angry, but this whole scenario had really gone over the top. He snatched the offered letter before Kai could change his mind. Although Kaz was in a bad mood, it apparently wasn't enough for him to refuse Kai's gift. "You know there were a lot of idiots here who barely knew how to use a weapon. A lot of misfires that would have killed civilians if we hadn't interfered. I can't help but think that someone in your position could have found some better way to go about this, at least manage to clear or limit the amount of people nearby."

Kaz crinkled the letter a bit, his grasp tightening. He grit his teeth, mainly because a mix of the pain, dying adrenaline, and rising anger was a lot for his body to bear right now. So he turned away from Mordekai for now, knowing that the other probably wanted to keep his involvement in the matter quiet. This was the first time that Kaz had felt much more anger than fear against someone in the Magic Council. Provoking someone like Mordekai was a bad idea, for multiple reasons, but Kaz failed to care at the moment.

Carefully, Kaz knelt down first next to Geo. He laid him down in a more comfortable position, before checking Geo's wounds for anything that required immediate care. Kaz's own side still dripped blood, he would need to get it looked at eventually, but for now he was more worried about Fairy Tail and Dragon Slayer. The bank was starting to come alive again; the people seeming to overcome their fear and move into shock, some wailing and other voices beginning to mix. The danger was over, and there were no casualties, not even among the robbers. That still didn't make it a happy ending in Kaz's mind. They were too close to the precipice of disaster... He never wanted something like this to happen again.

“Finally, it is done” Vortex said as one of the men help him up from the wall he was resting on. Gio was being look over by Kaz and Kai so that leave him some time alone. He thanks his lucky stars that he was able to walk on his two legs. There will be no chance of life that he’ll let someone see his face even to heal him. ‘While without knowing if they can be trusted to not talk’ He though as a sharp jolt of pain surge from his chest
.
“Kai, can you send for a medic plea? I think I something broke with that last kick.” Vortex call out a little, a lot, in pain. Once more he was someone that has a low pain tolerance. He stops at a branch near where there at so he won’t be near them. Even though fighting with each other can cause lasting bond he still hate being in a group. ‘Why would they do this? It seems that they wanted to make a statement but why the bank?’ Vortex thought as he stares at the MC doing their job finally. ‘Whatever its not my job anymore, its there.’

Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite) - Page 2 Empty Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)

Post by Mordekai Argon Sun Jun 22, 2014 6:40 pm

Kai knew Kasimir was mad at him. Kasimir didn’t understand the required risks to keep worse things from happening, and likely wouldn’t listen to him if he told him he would have rather have been here the whole time… for multiple reasons. Still, he couldn’t blame Kasimir. Even Exes with as powerful of magic as that one weren’t an excuse. He simply sighed and thanked them again. The healer would be along shortly and every single one of them would be as good as new, and the captured robbers would give them some insight on criminal activities. Were they truly connected to the attack on the council? Or were they just dumb criminals?

Regardless of what they found out, Kasimir had to set a few things right back at home as soon as he had the chance, and hopefully they could make life a little better in the meantime. Finding out who these ‘Rise’ people were was going to be hard work, especially since the lack of magic the lackies had shown meant they likely weren’t a dark guild. “I’ll see that the three of you get paid properly, and anyone we can track down that was here when everything happened will be taken care of as well,” he told Kasimir as he shrugged, picked up the unconscious leader and walked off.

The rest of the time there was pretty uneventful, save for the healer taking care of any injuries and a young man approaching and giving Kasimir, AJ, and Geo their rewards. It was one small step in figuring out what had happened at the Magic Council, but maybe it would be enough to put people, especially the Magic Council, at ease again. At least that was what Kai had hoped.
