Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)
Kaz was still on his way over when the once masked man recklessly assaulted Aj. He'd barely reached their range when suddenly their opponent switched mid-stride, instead coming after Kaz. He barely had time to lift his own sword, the first strike clanging loudly in the enclosed room. The dagger swipe, Kaz failed to block. It ripped through the side of his coat, drawing more blood. Releasing their temporary lock, Kaz took a few steps back. Their opponent had gone completely crazy. But he couldn't be shocked forever - Kaz lifted his own sword in retaliation, swinging it against the last opponent.
"The Magic Council's gonna be here any second," Kaz tried to reason with the man while they fought. Although he seriously doubted he would listen - but Kaz still had to try. He really hoped his words were true too.... The Magic Council should have already been here, which meant they would pop in at any moment. "All your guys are down and you're barely standing. Why don't you call it quits for now? You're only going to add to your record by the time the Magic Council arrives." It would be so much easier if this guy would listen to reason. Kaz was breathing lightly from taking on the rest of the robbers, plus now this wizard opponent. But he was still in far superior condition, and was completely confident he would win even without Aj at this point.

He move backwards as the enemy move to strike him. Only he slip and was slash with the third one and took the fellow up kick. He gasp as he was sent flying away from the fighting, the pain was almost too much. Yet he fought it down to stay at some level of awareness. He look over at the shapeless figures, trying with all his might the tell them apart. It was then that he felt someone drag him over to a wall. He wanted to lash out but his body didn't have the energy to. Luckily it was only the bank manger and not a other enemy.
He was drag to a small group of people who stay to watch the fight, the others had left while he and Gio was taking the boss down. They pop him on the wall facing Kasimir and the boss but for the most part out of sight from the two. He wanted to go and help but his body couldn't even move on it own anymore with out surges of pain. So he had no choice but stay out of the fight and hope for the best. "Maybe, this was the wrong idea?"
Wound Point - 10 (help I'm dying XD)

The formerly masked man didn't hear Kasimir, he was too deep in his battle lust to have taken any of that into consideration and he absolutely refused to acknowledge defeat. So what if the magic council managed to catch him, he would simply kill them too. The one still standing was about to fall and with it down to them it was time to take eliminate the final piece.
"There's still time to take you down first." He said, not shouting, but in a cold guttural growl.
That was all the warning that he gave as he charged again, slashing with his dagger and preparing to use his shockwave again. If he could do it in this close of a range he would be able to cause some serious harm, in the mean time, he slid his foot forward, launching himself and aiming to put his foot on the ground between Kasimir's legs and sought to drive his dagger deep into his opponent's chest. He almost drooled at the thought of putting an end to this whole situation, and as he ran he even prepared a couch instinctively to try to dodge a sword thrust or mid to high slash. All was not lost, he could still win the day and put an end to this group of do gooders.

Kaz watched helplessly as now Aj was tossed aside. Dang, another one bit the dust. The blow hadn't been quite as hard as when Geo was hit, but Aj looked to be in equally poor condition. Dang, and that had been the dragon slayer, too... Which just left Kaz as the sole defender against this madman. Why me?! He wondered hopelessly, lifting his blade as the other man prepared to attack. Curses, he was the most normal, unimpressive one of the entire group - not like Mr. Fairy Tail and definitely not a dragon slayer. So how the hell was he the last one standing? If he went down, then they'd all be in serious trouble. Talk about pressure.
The man's movements were so crazy, Kaz couldn't tell if he was winding up to do one of his blade techniques, or was just running in to attack. Kaz decided he didn't want to end up like his dragon slayer friend. As the man rushed in for an attack, Kaz firmly planted his feet, summoning magical energy. The floor between him and opponent shifted, rising to create a rock wall, although the poor tile of the bank also rose with it. Nothing could be done about the damage at the moment; Kaz preferred his life over the property. Hoping that the sudden earth wall had at least stunned his opponent, Kaz dashed to the side, swinging his blade and prepared to resume the fight.

Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)
(Sorry this took so long. I've been a bit stressed to reply properly. I'm going to bring this thread to a close in the next few posts so we can move on.)
"Crap crap crap crap!" Mordekai had heard the fighting from where he was sitting. Unfortunately, he'd been caught up in his own little ordeal with an ex who wouldn't listen to his insistence that he was on business. The fact that she'd magically chained him to a pole had made it hard to dismiss her. Now, he was racing towards the scene with as much speed as he could.
He arrived just in time to see Geo out cold, but alive, and AJ being tossed aside by a man who looked more than a little bit angry. Kasimir was facing him alone, but it looked like he stood a good chance of winning if he kept a cool head. Still, Mordekai had let this go on long enough.
Unsheathing his sword, he charged it with electrical energy, racing towards the villain. Just as Kasimir's own blade slashed a small gash into the man's side, Kai flipped his own blade around and bashed it into the back of the man's head as he was shocked with what had to be a dangerously high amount of electricity.
Smoking, the enraged man fell over, unconcious, and Kai flipped his blade around and reattached it to his back where it belonged.
He gave Kai a slightly sheepish grin. "Sorry about that. I ran into a bit of trouble of my own. Didn't even have time to round people up properly." At least the perps were all taken care of. Their leader was unconscious on the floor, and Kai knew of someone in town who would be able to extract whatever information he had in his brain whether he wanted to talk or not.
"We'll have people to take care of the kid and that Vortex guy," he said as he glanced down and noticed Kasimir wasn't exactly unscathed either. "And you as well, it seems. You've done a good job." Mordekai took out a letter he had pre-prepared while he had been waiting to act before everything went down. "Here, show this to people if you have any trouble in the future. Consider it a pardon for any stupid rules you might have accidentally broken. And an apology for me being so late."

Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)
Kaz felt his blade connect, but the blow still wasn't going to be enough to finish the man. As he prepared to exchange blows again, abruptly Kai appeared behind the opponent. The enemy was taken out instantly, leaving Kaz still panting for breath. The fact that the fight was over failed to register in his mind, as Kaz kept his blade readied, as if to defend against an attack. He stared at Kai for probably too much time, before the result finally clicked. Finally he sheathed his blade, wincing a bit as he felt his wounds even more. Almost instinctively, Kaz first looked towards where his companions had fallen - they still appeared alive, but definitely in worse shape than Kaz.
Then Kaz returned his gaze back to Mordekai. The angry glare was not one Kaz could replicate easily. Kai was more than late. A lot had gone wrong, and could have easily become much worse. So much of it could have been avoided, too. "Yeah, you're late," Kaz's voice was thick with his emotions. He was never good at hiding these kind of things. It took a lot to make him angry, but this whole scenario had really gone over the top. He snatched the offered letter before Kai could change his mind. Although Kaz was in a bad mood, it apparently wasn't enough for him to refuse Kai's gift. "You know there were a lot of idiots here who barely knew how to use a weapon. A lot of misfires that would have killed civilians if we hadn't interfered. I can't help but think that someone in your position could have found some better way to go about this, at least manage to clear or limit the amount of people nearby."
Kaz crinkled the letter a bit, his grasp tightening. He grit his teeth, mainly because a mix of the pain, dying adrenaline, and rising anger was a lot for his body to bear right now. So he turned away from Mordekai for now, knowing that the other probably wanted to keep his involvement in the matter quiet. This was the first time that Kaz had felt much more anger than fear against someone in the Magic Council. Provoking someone like Mordekai was a bad idea, for multiple reasons, but Kaz failed to care at the moment.
Carefully, Kaz knelt down first next to Geo. He laid him down in a more comfortable position, before checking Geo's wounds for anything that required immediate care. Kaz's own side still dripped blood, he would need to get it looked at eventually, but for now he was more worried about Fairy Tail and Dragon Slayer. The bank was starting to come alive again; the people seeming to overcome their fear and move into shock, some wailing and other voices beginning to mix. The danger was over, and there were no casualties, not even among the robbers. That still didn't make it a happy ending in Kaz's mind. They were too close to the precipice of disaster... He never wanted something like this to happen again.

“Finally, it is done” Vortex said as one of the men help him up from the wall he was resting on. Gio was being look over by Kaz and Kai so that leave him some time alone. He thanks his lucky stars that he was able to walk on his two legs. There will be no chance of life that he’ll let someone see his face even to heal him. ‘While without knowing if they can be trusted to not talk’ He though as a sharp jolt of pain surge from his chest
.
“Kai, can you send for a medic plea? I think I something broke with that last kick.” Vortex call out a little, a lot, in pain. Once more he was someone that has a low pain tolerance. He stops at a branch near where there at so he won’t be near them. Even though fighting with each other can cause lasting bond he still hate being in a group. ‘Why would they do this? It seems that they wanted to make a statement but why the bank?’ Vortex thought as he stares at the MC doing their job finally. ‘Whatever its not my job anymore, its there.’

Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)
Kai knew Kasimir was mad at him. Kasimir didn’t understand the required risks to keep worse things from happening, and likely wouldn’t listen to him if he told him he would have rather have been here the whole time… for multiple reasons. Still, he couldn’t blame Kasimir. Even Exes with as powerful of magic as that one weren’t an excuse. He simply sighed and thanked them again. The healer would be along shortly and every single one of them would be as good as new, and the captured robbers would give them some insight on criminal activities. Were they truly connected to the attack on the council? Or were they just dumb criminals?
Regardless of what they found out, Kasimir had to set a few things right back at home as soon as he had the chance, and hopefully they could make life a little better in the meantime. Finding out who these ‘Rise’ people were was going to be hard work, especially since the lack of magic the lackies had shown meant they likely weren’t a dark guild. “I’ll see that the three of you get paid properly, and anyone we can track down that was here when everything happened will be taken care of as well,” he told Kasimir as he shrugged, picked up the unconscious leader and walked off.
The rest of the time there was pretty uneventful, save for the healer taking care of any injuries and a young man approaching and giving Kasimir, AJ, and Geo their rewards. It was one small step in figuring out what had happened at the Magic Council, but maybe it would be enough to put people, especially the Magic Council, at ease again. At least that was what Kai had hoped.

Re: Looking for Bread Crumbs (Aj Luna & Kasimir Sewik/Invite)
There was no point in being mad but doing nothing, so Kaz made it a point to help out whatever ways he could. He was far from a medical specialist, but he could at least take care of Aj and Geo until better help arrived. The rest of the people, thanks to their group effort, had seemingly avoided any serious injuries. The worst were a few scrapes from some flying debris, but nothing that would last for long. Even when there was little else for him to do, Kaz still stuck around, mainly just waiting to ensure the Magic Council would arrive and do their jobs. He took a seat on the ground next to Aj, but didn't much feel like talking. When Kai said his parting words, Kaz just looked away and pointedly ignored him.
Kaz added the money to a very thin pouch, before rising to his feet and dusting himself off. "I guess this is goodbye then, dragon slayer," he told Aj. "It's good to know that at least there's some powerful people out there willing to help out the normal people. I was heading out of Era before all this happened, and I think I'll stick to that plan and head out." Fame was something he didn't want, and he had probably gained a small amount of recognition after these events. Even if a lot of that attention had shifted to Kai as soon as he entered and 'saved the day', according to some. "If we ever meet again, maybe we can share a drink, or at least something less dangerous." He headed towards the bank entrance, one hand held up in farewell. Era was not a place he would return to soon.

After being heal and finally able to breathe aging, he looks around to see what they were doing. Kai was leaving the site with the boss in tow. Geo was being move to a better location and Kasimir was coming over his way. There was also a man that give him a pouch of money but he dismiss him because Kasimir begin to talk to him. "I guess this is goodbye then, dragon slayer. It's good to know that at least there's some powerful people out there willing to help out the normal people. “Wow that just made his day right there. “If we ever meet again, maybe we can share a drink, or at least something less dangerous."
“Don’t count on it Kasimir, I rather stay alone most of the time.” Vortex says as he stands up and walks away from the bank. He was Vortex for too long, it time to shed this skin and become Aj Luna aging. “Now then what was I doing before all this started aging? Oh right I was gonna go find a place to use a created some new spells.” He said to himself as he entire a place to change his clothing.
